电影都不好看 传记更无聊

早就知道《锅匠，裁缝，士兵，间谍》，但不了解作者，不知道这个作者还挺有名，通过这个纪录片一下子被约翰·勒卡雷吸引，他自述了自己的母亲和父亲的一些事，和他们之间的牵绊，另外就是写作对他自己的影响。看完这部纪录片就去下单了相关的原版书。

作为纪录片，勒卡雷的一些回答还是过于谜语人了，或许是因为他的骗子父亲，也或许是因为他曾经的职业。我们总能在某个瞬间从他冷峻的双眼一瞥城府的深邃，但紧接着的憨笑与慈祥的神情又把他变成了一位迷人有魅力的老头。我想我会多读两本他的小说。“Characters don’t actually work until they’ve got a bit of you in them. ”“My business has been to try to make credible fables out of the worlds that I visited or visited me. ”

纪录片里这个说着优雅英语的英国老人是我最爱的间谍小说作家。约翰勒卡雷的成长经历，和父亲的关系塑造了他的世界观，也许就是贯穿他小说的存在主义和虚无主义气质的来源。

能做间谍的人，一定得有点坏的，但又不能完全坏，他还必须忠诚。
